We have been there a few times when they first opened and within a year after. The first time we stood in the entrance for a few minutes and no one said a word to us. It was absolutely dead and we were just flat out ignored. We left. We came back with family on another occasion and we're promptly sat. Maybe a bad day that day. The food is amazingly mediocre. The spicy tuna roll was one the worst I have had. The fried rice was bland and boring. I only have been there since because those family members like it. I wouldn't go my own. Others seem to enjoy it but my pallette for Asian fusion is limited since I am not much of a curry or fish fan. So take my review with a grain of salt.

My daughter and I ate here last night and we will be back MANY times! The sushi was delicious and the service was perfect! Our server was very attentive and pleasant. We never found ourselves looking for him as he checked on us frequently. The food was out quickly and was perfect! AND they had gluten free soy sauce!!! A must for us as we are both allergic! Lastly the price was great!! We had 4 rolls and an appetizer and the bill was barely over $30. My new favorite sushi spot!! :)

Really good food and service today at lunch! My husband and I swung in here for a rare lunch together in PBG. The lunch specials are $12 and offer your choice of an entree + a roll OR just two rolls. We both opted for an entree + roll. We didn't even need to open up the regular menu because there were so many options available as part of the lunch specials. My pad thai with tofu was scrumptious, and I appreciate when I'm given the choice of steamed or fried tofu. I also ordered the shrimp tempura roll which which was larger than I expected. while my husband ordered the shrimp and rice with a dynamite roll. His shrimp were really prawns as they were huge! The dynamite roll was not skimpy and was uber tasty. Additionally, guests receive a choice of miso soup or salad with ginger dressing. Though $12 isn't a cheap lunch, the portions were large, and we both took leftovers with us. The bathrooms here are clean as well, and that always counts for something! Given the good service, good food, and cleanliness of the place, I'll surely come back.

Not even done with my meal yet, but so far I am blown away. Mango rolls, Tom Yum soup, chicken fried rice, all absolutely amazing.

First of all the menu is so extensive.. In a great way. It's fusion. So it is a Japanese menu full of Japanese tapas, sashimi and specialty rolls that would satisfy you for days. Then there is a fusion menu with pad Thais, Peking duck etc. The sushi rolls were gorgeous. We ordered the sashimi roll, Sakura, seared tuna, the empire and a toro maki. All of them beautifully plated and tasted even better. The crispy duck was unreal. We had the tropical thai sauce, infused with pineapple. Everything was great. My friend said it was the best sushi he has ever had. So fresh. And we have good sushi in Toronto. We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone who visits.

Great service. Went to Sushi Yama and was. Disappointed. This one is great sushi and service with a smile and open late and will serve you past the hour they close. Love it

Last night in girls trip. Order wine, they had my favorite. Ordered two fantastic sushi rolls. Mom had steak teriyaki and she was pleased. Friend ordered basil Thai. She was also very happy with the taste. The outdoor patio was ideal. Weather was perfect. Company was great and a perfect way to end a trip. I would definitely come back. The server was attentive and polite.

Not only was our meal affordable it was delicious and the service was great! Had the Krab Rangoon, the mango tango role, spicy tuna roll and the shrimp pad thai very impressed!!

    (5)
  • Rob L.

I have to say that this is a very impressive sushi place. Here you will find top notch sushi, Jap, and Thai cuisine infused into great menu. The atmosphere is also very good as well. Sushi was very good and fresh. And I must say, they have probably the most impressive and diverse sushi menu I have ever seen. The miso soup was also some of the best I've ever had. They also have Asian beer on the menu which I like (Tsingtao is my fav). Although I haven't tried much other rolls here, they all looked impressive (and there are a lot). Only downsides were the slight wait for the food and the fact that we were at the sushi bar and when the waiters pick up the sushi orders, they are reaching around you to pick up plates. Can be a bit annoying. Only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because of the service was all not there, otherwise the food and atmosphere is amazing.

  • Sasha J.

Stopped in for w quick lunch! Had the Thai red curry w/ shrimp! It was great! Not too spicy, just right! Will definitely eat here again while in Palm Beach

  • Kirk F.

Nice lunch menu and service. Had the pad thai and spicy tuna sushi, it was fresh and ok, just not my favorite. Four stars since I requested additional tofu and they just added it no questions asked and no charge!

  • Joseph R.

The City's best sushi spot by far! Every dish is made with quality ingredients that you can clearly taste. Along with a decent drink menu, this trendy asian delicatessen has everything you're looking for.

  • Whitney M.

My girlfriends and I went here for happy hour before 50 shades of grey this past weekend! This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. My friend recommended it and I am glad she did. Happy hour is until 6:30 and their drinks and food menu is pretty good. Will be back!

    (5)
  • Toby J.

Sushi was really good. Had some tuna sashimi with jalapeño, roll had lots of fish in it really tasty. no complaints here

  • Andy K.

Classy place. Service = A Sushi = A Parking = C- Kabuki on PGA is a great place to get your sushi on. I'm not sure anyone in there is Japanese but they make great rolls and the service is top notch. The quality of fish is equal to or better than any sushi place around. I didn't give 5 stars because on some nights the complex kabuki is in almost forces you to valet your car. That is total BS and kabuki management should go against that complexes practice. I go to kabuki weekly and sometimes twice. It is that good. Just hate parking there.

    (4)
  • Matt R.

Kabuki's sushi is great! Not as good as Hokkaido's sushi in Abacoa, but it's decent enough. Definitely look into Hokkaido as their rice is imported from Japan, and their ingredients taste so much fresher! Anyway Kabuki is worth a try

  • Jake D.

Had tuna rolls and spicy edamame, both of which were DELICIOUS, esp edamame. Took them for lunch and they were gobbled down by my co-workers, which agreed with me. And very reasonable prices.

    (5)
  • Adam B.

The food here was amazing. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The rice tasted moist without being wet and the sushi was very good quality. The staff was very accommodating even when we accidentally forgot to ask for no fish flakes on the age tofu for the vegan members of our group. All in all a very pleasant experience and we hope to visit again soon!

First time hear last Sunday with the family. Awesome sushi. Fairly priced. Clean and wonderful service. Will be back

  • Glen H.

Brought my date here on Sunday after church. Not very crowded, and nice inside. I had the pineapple chicken and she had the mango tango spring roll. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. Priced a little on the high side. I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

  • KC S.

This place has great lunch specials, and very fast service. I was pleased with the sushi, everything was good quality.

Service super, food and drinks good. I had to go to the bathroom, UGH !! Mgmt needs to keep a eye on that, not good !

  • Robin F.

The staff was nice. We love this place. It consistently make yummy food. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is my go to place for good quality fresh food. Thai and chicken to Japan and sushi. There something for everyone.

  • Jeff T.

Nice Philly special roll, nice spider roll, pad Thai (chicken)was not up to par for my liking. We will be back when in the area to explore more special rolls. I can see where parking in the high season could be a challenge, with Roco's next door. Recommended sushi for sure in Palm Beach Gardens.

  • Kassie H.

Great place! There aren't many quality sushi places in the Jupiter/Gardens area that are also affordable so I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon Kabuki. Great lunch specials and great happy hour. Their spicy edamame is one if my favorites. $16 for a spicy tuna roll (that was huge!), miso soup, spicy edamame, and a iced tea. Pretty sweet deal! I have only had one of their Thai dishes, the Massaman Curry, but it was pretty good too! I definitely recommend this place.

  • Lolly A.

This is my favorite place to eat in palm beach. I go to their PGA location and their clematis location and they both provide amazing food and service. I have never left unhappy. The PgA location has the stupidest parking lot and they almost force you to valet park, I know this has nothing to do with kabuki, but it is very annoying.

    (5)
  • Judith S.

This is positively the WORST sushi I have ever eaten !!!!!' I should have known better when I saw that there was nobody in the place at 6.15pm!!!!

  • H P.

slowest service ever... came in late night - were the only people at the bar and there was only one other table in the restaurant. all of the staff made eye contact with us as we sat looking around at the bar confused. nobody came over. after 20 minutes we finally got up and asked a server for menus . nobody came up to refill our drinks . just all around a terrible experience

    (1)
  • Sanaz M.

Good fusion food with pretty good sushi. Nice staff and good service. The drink selection was great. So why 3 stars you might ask? The sushi was not up to part, it was good but not 4 stars worthy. I would still recommend this spot since it's fun and at a good location.

    (3)
  • Leah K.

What a treat!!! Seriously delish sushi. The hamachi was like butter. The mussels dynamite ap was such a fun start. And the naruto salmon avocado roll was seriously so good it didn't need any soy sauce. Added bonus: the sushi bar chef was so friendly and gave me a complimentary starter and my waiter Jay was awesome. All of this for a reasonable price! Also I'm a giant idiot and miscaptioned a picture. The one I posted is the salmon naruto not the hamachi. Idiot.

Best sushi I've had in south Florida. Happy hour is the Bomb!!! Pad thai was also pretty Tasty, but the sushi is what I come here for. Atmosphere is great and the rolls are delicious!! A must try if you are in the area.

  • Marlene G.

The best sushi I've had in a while. The ambiance was Wonderful for a night out with my husband. Customer service superb! We went during happy hour so very reasonably priced. This is now our favorite Japanese restaurant in Palm Beach.

    (5)
  • Tray R.

I just don't get all these good reviews. We went last night, 3 adults and 2 kids and besides the saki nothing even tasted remotely good. The texture of the sushi is awful. All the rolls had strange sauce which I guess covers up the poor quality for people that don't really know good sushi. If you are the kind of person that considers McDonalds a great burger or macaroni grill great Italian then this is the place for you, oh, if you would risk the food poisoning.

  • Kato P.

Great service every time I'm here, the daily lunch special is the BEST deal, food is presented beautifully, & interior design is fantastic. If you want a Japanese restaurant to eat at, I highly recommend Kabuki.

  • Wendy A.

Simply outstanding sushi. I wish I lived closer :(. The freshest ingredients and great service. It was worth the 1 1/2 hour drive. Plus I came during happy hour with an awesome happy hour menu. Many items reduced in price until 6:30pm. I'll be back

    (5)
  • Enid A.

Wow! Kabuki is a chic, trendy sushi, Thai restaurant located at PGA Commons. The menu is diverse, and the food is awesome, the service is prompt and and gracious. The Happy Hour has great value for small plates and drinks for $5. I ordered the tempura, and it was perfect.

    (5)
  • Anton O.

About the best sushi I've had here in Florida. While the portions could be larger, they serve fresh fish, get the subtle flavors right, the presentation, is excellent, and prices are competitive

    (3)
  • Justin K.

Wonderful staff, delicious food, inviting decor. Fresh-cut vegetables. The small rolls are just the right size for a snack. Surprisingly fast service... these guys really have it together. Surpassed all my expectations - we'll definitely be back.

    (5)
  • Cristal H.

Amazing! I'm so picky about the quality of sushi I eat and this was up to par. They even deliver!

    (5)
  • Junko O.

Was not impressed by the quality of the sashimi. Salad was well past prime. The outside seating and ambiance was good. The service was pretty good too. There was some good things about restaurant but over all, not recommended if expected authentic.

Hands down one of THE BEST Happy Hours I've ever been to! 3-7pm Daily - with drinks and food ranging from $2.50-$7.00!!! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious!!!!! I can't wait to go back! :)

Absolutely delicious food - good food, good service, good price!

  • Ariel S.

I went to Kabuki on a Sunday at 6:30 p.m. which happened to be happy hour! My family and I had drinks and appetizers and by the time we were ready to order dinner it was 7 p.m. We then found out that from 7 - 10 p.m. is there Sunday Special - 1/2 off all sushi! Such an AMAZING deal. All the sushi was wonderful! I recommend this spot to everyone.

    (5)
  • Johnny A.

At both locations, the service is always quick, but not too quick. The sushi is the best I have had in south Florida. Great Pad Thai as well. 5 stars, because there is nothing to complain about.

    (5)
  • Kate R.

Tried it yesterday for the first time, the Thai dishes we tried, teriyaki chicken and chicken pineapple curry, were tender and superbly seasoned, excellent. Looking forward eating there again. Service was pleasant and relatively fast.

    (5)
  • Chad T.

Parking is so bad we never made it inside. Maybe the owners will do something about that!?!?!?

    (1)
  • Mitch F.

Visited Kabuki, a new sushi restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens. All in all not a bad spot. The selection is a bit limited but the rolls I ordered were pretty tasty. Sake selection is a bit limited if you are a fan of sake. Pricing is a bit on the higher side for the quality and selection of the food. If you're in the area and in the mood it's a fine stop but don't go out of your way to get there.

    (3)
  • Timothy K.

Worst experience ever!!!! Tempura was disgusting, service was horrible, they refused to honor coupon from a reputable coupon book that I bought from a charity and now I realize why the place was completely empty during dinner rush while Rocco's tacos across the way was packed. NEVER GO!

    (1)
  • Valerie J.

Very nice atmosphere! We went on a Friday night around 7ish and sat at the sushi bar. Outside seating was eclectic as they had some artistic seating! It was a bit muggy out so we chose to sit indoors. Sushi was fresh and service was fast. Parking was a bit limited unless you chose the valet. All in all was a tasty and good meal.

  • Sarah H.

I really like this place, it's my go to for a close to home sushi joint.Service is always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and reliable, which can be tough in these here parts. I've eaten or get carry out here once a week and have never received a bad pice of sushi. I love the spicy edamames and anything tuna. Tried a lot of rolls and always enjoys them. I only wish sushi places would stop adding mayo to sushi but really I'm not surprised...... Murcia! Try it

    (4)
  • Frank T.

Food is delicious. We hit this place on a sat evening and couldn't be happier with the results. Got to try the beef salad, & mango tango roll. I'm a big sashimi fan too and the fish melts in your mouth. Definitely will a revisit

    (5)
  • Adam M.

FOOD: The sushi is quite good. I ordered the Rainbow roll and another specialty roll known as the Mango Tango. The Rainbow was nice; the raw fish was fresh and tasty. The Mango Tango was a bit strange for me, and not because I don't enjoy mango on sushi. Their soft-shell crab tempura appetizer is delicious. I also recommend the Thai iced tea. SERVICE: Very good. Not exceptional, but we were well-tended to. ATMOSPHERE: I'm not a huge fan, but it may just be me. Modern interior (and exterior) design. Coupled with rather loud rap music; the excessive use of cuss words while I was trying to enjoy a nice family dinner was very off-putting. Overall, a rather good sushi restaurant. Come dressed somewhat nicely. Flip flops and a tee looks a bit out of place...

  • Jade L.

Nice spot with very good sushi and other dishes. Their curries, salads and appetizers are really good. They have great lunch and happy hour specials. Definitely a sushi and Asian fusion spot worth trying if you are in the area!

Delicious food, prompt service, clean restaurant. My family and I will definitely be returning to this place, and recommending it to friends.

  • Cami B.

This is my favorite Sushi spot in West Palm! The prices are right, service is quick, and the food is great! The lunch specials are great and long happy hour!

    (5)
  • Tamra F.

Not one to go out for sushi all the time, but I found something fantastic on Kabuki's menu. It's the Pacific Rim Roll - with cooked salmon, cream cheese, and crunchy tempura with eel sauce. This, my friends, I could eat every night. I wish they would put just a little more wine in their wine glasses! ; )

    (4)
  • Bryan K.

This place is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The $12 lunch special is the best in town. The sush is incredibly fresh. This place never disappoints.

    (5)
  • Neil G.

Went here on Cinco de Mayo, I know... weird choice, but we were at Roccos and it was right next door. Tommy the bartender hooked it up. He's the man! Sushi was really good. Not great, but really good. Their saki is good too. I had cold saki, which I'd never had before, and now that's my favorite kind! There was nobody there, but we didn't really care. Can't expect it to be a hot spot on Cinco de Mayo...

    (4)
  • Jason R.

I have had better and have had worse Japanese food.

    (3)
  • Natalia P.

Great place! We wanted to sit outside and they went ahead and just added a table outside. Great service, delicious sushi and fresh! Staff is friendly and attentive! Definitely order the king of the sea!
